ABOUT SHYLA
I’m a 11-year-old actress, singer, and dancer originally from the Pacific Northwest and now based in Los Angeles, with a deep passion for the performing arts. I began dance and vocal training at the age of three, and added acting and musical theater training at eight — building the foundation for a career as a true “triple threat” performer. I love singing, dancing, stepping, and acting, as well as participating in team sports. Outside the spotlight, I enjoy cheering on my hometown Trail Blazers, watching movies, baking, and cooking.
My professional experience includes regular performances with World Stage Theater in Portland, appearances with the Oregon Children’s Theater, and serving on the Multnomah Athletic Club Competitive Junior Dance Team. I also perform with the Youth Choir at Life Change Church. Vocally trained in Musical Theater, Pop, and R&B, my dance repertoire spans jazz, lyrical, ballet, hip-hop, and tap.
Dedicated to growth, I travel frequently to New York City to train with professionals. My goal is to bring energy, professionalism, and heart to every production — from local stages to the bright lights of Broadway.
